Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of LaterBag, operated by Chantter, a company registered in Poland. By using LaterBag, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

LaterBag is a personal content saving and decision tool. It lets you capture links, notes, and ideas, then decide what to keep or remove. We provide the service via mobile apps (iOS and Android), browser extensions (Chrome and Firefox), and a website.

2. Accounts

  • You can use LaterBag as a guest without creating an account. Guest data may be deleted after a period of inactivity.
  • To sync across devices and access all features, you can create an account using your email, Google, or Apple sign-in.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use LaterBag.

3. Your content

You own the content you save to LaterBag. We do not claim ownership of your items, notes, tags, or any other content you create.

By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content back to you – and only to you. We do not share your content with other users or third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the content you save. Do not use LaterBag to store content that is illegal, harmful, or that you do not have the right to save.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use LaterBag to store, distribute, or link to illegal content
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Abuse the service through automated bulk requests, scraping, or denial-of-service attacks
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
  • Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep LaterBag available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice so you can retrieve your data.

6. Data and deletion

  • Items you delete move to trash and are permanently removed after 30 days, or immediately if you choose.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the app. This permanently removes all your data from our systems.

7. Intellectual property

LaterBag, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Chantter. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond using the service as intended.

8. Limitation of liability

LaterBag is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any loss of data, content, or business arising from your use of the service.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 EUR, whichever is greater.
  • This does not affect any rights you have under EU consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Poland, unless EU consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
